The Adventure Protection process
One motorcycle. One full day. Multi-layer protection.
Adventure Protection is much more than the application of a ceramic coating.
Every motorcycle undergoes a structured full-day preparation, correction and protection process designed to ensure that surfaces are properly prepared before our multi-layer ceramic protection system is applied.
Stage 1: The initial inspection
The motorcycle is carefully inspected before work begins. Paintwork, plastics, metal finishes, wheels and other key surfaces are assessed for condition, contamination and areas requiring particular attention. Allows the treatment to be tailored to the condition and finish of the individual motorcycle.
Stage 2: Pre-wash & deep clean
The motorcycle receives a thorough pre-wash and detailed clean to remove road dirt, grime, bug residue, grease and accumulated contamination. Difficult and intricate areas are addressed as part of the preparation process. Ceramic protection should never be applied over contamination. Thorough cleaning creates the foundation for the stages that follow.
Stage 3: Decontamination
Remaining bonded contamination is removed from appropriate surfaces using specialist products and techniques.| Produces a cleaner, smoother surface and helps prepare the motorcycle for coating.
Stage 4: Paint & surface preparation
Paintwork and suitable finished surfaces are inspected and prepared. Where appropriate, minor imperfections are addressed before final coating preparation. The appearance underneath the ceramic system is important because the coating will protect and enhance the prepared finish.
Stage 5: Final panel preparation
Surfaces receiving ceramic protection undergo a final preparation and cleansing stage to remove polishing residues, oils or other material that could interfere with coating adhesion.| Creates the correctly prepared surface required for the ceramic coating to bond effectively.
Stage 6: Base ceramic protection layer
Our professional ceramic base coating is carefully applied to the appropriately prepared surfaces of the motorcycle. Creates the primary durable protective layer and the foundation of the Adventure Protection system.
Stage 7: Performance top layer
A second performance layer is applied over the ceramic base system. Adds the performance wear layer, enhancing water behaviour, slickness, ease of cleaning and ongoing protection.
Stage 8: Curing & final inspection
The completed motorcycle is allowed the appropriate initial curing period before every treated area receives a final inspection. Ensures coating coverage and finish meet the Adventure Protection standard before the motorcycle is released.
Stage 9: Handover & aftercare
The rider receives guidance on correct cleaning and ongoing maintenance of the protected motorcycle. Correct maintenance helps preserve coating performance and keeps the motorcycle easier to care for throughout ownership.
